Thesis and Topic Sentences (for your documentary)

Please post an idea for an organizing principle for the entire documentary. It will be like a thesis for an essay.
Also post a focus statement for your segment. It will be like a topic sentence for an essay. Make sure you tell what your group is

I guess I will start.
Segment Thesis
Due to the increase in climate change, the effects of global warming are becoming more apparent in the societal and ecological aspects of life.
Documentary Thesis
Global warming is a serious climate crisis and its growing threat against society, the environment, and future generations have caused a need of awareness.

Sounds solid, Jason. Here’s what I’m thinking
Segment Thesis (for causes of g.w.)
Due to the fact that there is a lack of knowledge on the true causes of global warming, it is harder to prevent and will continue to affect the world.
Documentary Thesis
The global warming crisis is making everyone crazy so we must stop it before it does any more damage to our minds and the Earth.

the main idea for my group, causes, will be something like this:
“Global warming is a problem in the world today. One reason that it has gotten so bad is because most people do not know the causes of this phenomenon. (Then segway into first visual metaphor)”
the thesis for the whole movie would be:
“Where have all the glaciers gone? You may have been hearing about global warming in the news or during your daily routine, and you probably have some questions. The population as a whole is very uneducated about global warming and their ignorance may be costing them. Come take a look and learn all that you can about global warming so that we can all work together to make sure our children’s, children can grow up in a world with a bright future.”

Documentary Thesis:
“Global Warming is a worldly concern in which people must unite and make change all in the goal to prevent current and future devastations of its climate change upon the sole surface of what we all so dearly take for granted and require to survive.”
Group Thesis:
“The only way any difference can be made on the issue of preventing the impacts of global warming is to merely inform the public on how or what they can change in their life and community to make a difference and for what to look out for as far as environmental hazards.”

Prevention Group Topic Sentence: Global Warming affects us all and therefore each individual must become active in order for a global change to occur.
Documentary Thesis: Global Warming is a current issue which encompasses the entire world.

Documentary Thesis: Global warming is a threat to more than our livelihood. It affects the animals and will affect our future generations. It’s bigger than any one individual. Everyone needs to come together to reduce the impact we are making because it’s the right thing to do.
Group Thesis (what is it): Global warming is a change in climate due to human involvment.

Have you decided on the topic sentence/title for the entire project yet because Jason and I are working on the Intro and Conclusion, so we need the name and basic idea.
